You don't have to send buyers to a separate page. TokTix can embed your ticket form right on your own website — including WordPress — so people buy without leaving your site.
Get your API key
The embed uses an API key tied to your account.
- In the app, go to Profile → Tools.
- Open API Key Management.
- Generate a key (or regenerate if you need a fresh one).
- Keep it somewhere safe — treat it like a password.
WordPress
TokTix has a WordPress plugin that adds a ticket form with a short code.
- From Profile → Tools, tap Download WordPress Plugin.
- In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and install the file.
- Activate it, then add your API key in the plugin settings.
- Drop the TokTix short code onto any page or post where you want the ticket form.
- Publish the page — your event's tickets now sell directly on your site.
Other websites
Not on WordPress? The same TokTix checkout can be embedded on other sites too, using your API key. If you manage your own site or have a developer, point them at your API key and the embed setup, and they can place the ticket form wherever you like.
Embedding keeps buyers on your brand and domain while TokTix handles tickets, payment, and delivery behind the scenes. Sales still flow to your connected payout account exactly as they do in the app.
Keep your key safe
Your API key can create and read against your account. If you think it's been exposed, regenerate it in API Key Management — the old key stops working immediately.
