Add ticket types and set prices

Create General Admission, VIP, and other tiers, each with its own price and quantity.

Ticket types (also called tiers) are the things people actually buy — General Admission, VIP, Early Bird, and so on. Each tier has its own name, price, and quantity.

Add a ticket type

  1. Open your event in the editor and scroll to Ticketing.
  2. Tap New Type.
  3. Fill in:
    • Ticket name — what buyers see, e.g. General Admission or VIP Table.
    • Price — the amount per ticket. Enter 0 for a free ticket.
    • Quantity — how many you're selling at this tier (your cap for this type).
    • Description (optional) — what's included, e.g. "Includes one drink."
  4. Tap Save.
  5. Repeat New Type for each tier you want to offer.

A few tips

  • Order matters. The tiers appear to buyers in the order you add them — put your lead offer first.
  • Early Bird pricing is just a cheap tier with a small quantity. When it sells out, buyers move to the next one automatically.
  • Free events are always free to host. A tier priced at 0 needs no Stripe setup.

To sell paid tickets you must set up payouts first, or your event can't publish. See How to sell paid tickets.

Editing and capacity

You can edit a tier's price or description any time. Raising a tier's quantity adds inventory; the total of all your tiers is your event's capacity. Selling out one tier doesn't close the others.
