Publish your event

Run the final checks and take your event live so people can start buying tickets.

Publishing takes your event live so people can view it and buy tickets. Before that moment it's private to you (or saved as a draft).

Publish

  1. Open the event you want to take live.
  2. Tap Publish.
  3. TokTix runs a quick check — it makes sure the essentials are there (name, date, location, at least one ticket type) and that Stripe is connected if you have paid tickets.
  4. If anything's missing, TokTix tells you exactly what to fix. Fix it and tap Publish again.
  5. When the checks pass, your event goes live and you get your shareable link.

What the checklist looks for

  • A name, date, time, and location.
  • At least one ticket type.
  • A connected payout account — only if you're selling paid tickets. Free events skip this. See How to sell paid tickets.

Can't get past publish? It's almost always the payout setup. Open How to sell paid tickets and finish setup, then publish again.

After publishing

  • Your event page is now reachable at its link. Get it out there — see Share your event link.
  • You can still edit most details after publishing. Changes go live right away.
  • Made it public by mistake? Switch it to private in Visibility — see Public vs private events.
Still stuck? Open the TokTix app, go to Profile → Feedback, and send us a message — we read every one.
