How fast can I create an event?

You can get an event live in about 60 seconds. Upload your flyer, FAITH pulls the event details automatically, review your ticket types, and publish. No long forms. No copying and pasting.

How much does TokTix cost?

TokTix charges 5% + $0.50 per paid ticket, plus standard Stripe processing fees. There are no monthly fees. Free events are always free to host. Your ticket revenue goes directly to your Stripe account — TokTix never holds your funds.

All payments are processed through Stripe. Ticket sales go directly into your connected Stripe account, and payouts are handled automatically based on your Stripe settings (daily or weekly).

FAITH is TokTix's built-in AI assistant. Upload a flyer photo and FAITH automatically pulls out your event details — title, date, time, location, and more. You can also edit events by chatting with FAITH instead of filling out forms.

TokTix uses Stripe for payment processing. Stripe handles payment security and compliance, and TokTix does not store customer card details.

Does TokTix support sub-promoters?

Sub-promoter commission tracking is launching soon. You'll be able to assign unique ticket links to each promoter, track sales in real time, and calculate commissions automatically.

Can I use TokTix on my own website?

Yes. TokTix integrates with existing event websites, including WordPress, so you can sell tickets directly from your own site without moving to a different marketplace.

Toktix, Inc. ("Toktix", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use our platform (the "Platform"). By using Toktix, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use our services.

Information We Collect

We collect several types of information from and about our users to provide and improve the Platform. This includes information that you provide to us directly and information collected automatically when you use Toktix.

Information You Provide

Account Information: When you register for Toktix, we ask for information such as your name, username, password, email address, phone number, date of birth, and other profile details.
User Content: We collect the content you create and share on Toktix, including videos, photos, comments, and other materials, along with any metadata (such as when and where the content was created).
Messages: If you communicate with other users or with us through the Platform (for example, via direct messages or chat features), we collect the content of those communications.
Transaction Information: If you make purchases or financial transactions through Toktix (such as buying digital goods or services), we collect information related to those transactions, including payment information, billing address, and delivery details.
Contacts: If you choose to import or sync your contacts to find friends on Toktix, we collect information from your address book (such as names, phone numbers, or email addresses) with your permission.
Identity Verification: In certain cases, we may ask you to provide government-issued ID or other proof of identity/age (for example, to verify your age for age-restricted features or to authenticate your account).
Customer Support and Feedback: If you contact us for support, provide feedback, or participate in surveys or promotions, we collect the information you provide (such as your contact details and the content of your communications).

Information Collected Automatically

Usage Data: We automatically collect information about how you use Toktix. This includes your interactions with content and other users (e.g., videos you watch, posts you like, users you follow, search queries), the time and frequency of your activities, and any preferences or settings you choose.
Device and Technical Information: We collect information about the device and software you use to access Toktix. For example, we may collect your device type, operating system version, browser type, unique device identifiers, language preference, and IP address. We also gather device event information such as crashes, system activity, and hardware settings.
Location Information: We may determine your approximate location based on your IP address. With your consent, we might also collect precise geolocation data from your device (for example, via GPS or mobile networks) to provide location-based features or services.
Cookies and Similar Technologies: Toktix uses cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as web beacons and device identifiers) to collect data about your browsing activities over time and across different services. This helps us remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and analyze how our Platform is used (see Cookies and Tracking Technologies below for more details).

SMS Communications

How We Use Your Phone Number for Text Messages

When you purchase tickets on TokTix, you may opt-in to receive transactional SMS messages related to your order. If you check the SMS opt-in box during checkout, we will use your phone number to send you:

Ticket Delivery Notification: Sent immediately after purchase with a deep link to access your tickets in the TokTix mobile app
Event Reminder: Sent 24 hours before your event starts with a deep link to view your tickets in the app

SMS Opt-In and Opt-Out

SMS notifications are optional. During ticket checkout, you can choose to receive text messages by checking the SMS opt-in box. By opting in, you consent to receive the transactional messages described above at the phone number you provide.

Message Frequency: You will receive 2 text messages per ticket order (ticket delivery notification and event reminder).

Carrier Charges: Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier's plan. TokTix does not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier may. Contact your mobile carrier for pricing information.

SMS Service Provider

We use Telnyx as our SMS service provider to deliver text messages. Your phone number and message content may be shared with Telnyx solely for the purpose of delivering SMS notifications. Telnyx is contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for authorized message delivery.

Data Retention for SMS

We retain your phone number and SMS opt-in preferences as long as you have an active TokTix account. If you opt-out of SMS, we will immediately stop sending text messages but may retain your phone number for account security and verification purposes.

Host Marketing SMS Communications

In addition to the transactional SMS described above, event hosts on TokTix may send you promotional text messages about their upcoming events if you opt in to receive them.

TokTix as Sender, Hosts as Senders

TokTix is the registered SMS sender with The Campaign Registry and operates the messaging infrastructure. The event host is the actual sender of the promotional content; TokTix relays their messages on their behalf.

Per-Host Consent

Opting in to one host does not subscribe you to any other host. Each host maintains its own opt-in record, and replying STOP opts you out of that one host's messages only.

How You Opt In

The opt-in mechanism is an explicit, unbundled, unchecked-by-default checkbox during ticket purchase at events.toktix.com. Your consent is timestamped and recorded along with your phone number, the host ID, the event ID, your IP address, and your user agent.

Data Handling

Phone numbers, opt-in records, and message history are stored in Firestore. We do not share this data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Frequency

Expect 1–5 messages per month from each host you have opted in to.

Every promotional message includes the host context, a STOP instruction, a HELP instruction, a frequency disclosure, the "Msg & data rates may apply" disclosure, and a link to this privacy policy.

Right to Delete

You can request deletion of your consent record and associated phone number by emailing hello@toktix.com.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for various purposes related to operating, improving, and protecting the Platform, including:

Provide and Improve Services: To operate Toktix and provide you with all requested services and features. For example, we use your information to create and manage your account, display content, and personalize your experience (such as showing you videos and ads that match your interests).
Personalization: To customize the content you see, including feed recommendations and advertising, so that Toktix is more relevant to your interests.
Communication: To send you service-related communications. This may include confirmations, account notifications, updates, security alerts, and administrative messages. We may also respond to your inquiries or comments.
Social Connectivity: To enable interactive features such as sharing content with other users, finding friends, and participating in challenges or contests.
Analytics and Development: To understand how users interact with our Platform, troubleshoot issues, conduct research, and develop new features. This helps us improve Toktix and make informed decisions about our business.
Security and Legal Compliance: To maintain the safety and integrity of our Platform. For instance, we may use your data to detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or illegal activities, enforce our Terms of Service, and comply with applicable laws and law enforcement requests.
Marketing (with consent): To provide you with newsletters, offers, or promotions about our products and services that may be of interest to you. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time.

We may share your personal information with third parties in certain circumstances, as described below:

With Event Hosts and Organizers: When you purchase or register for a ticket to an event on Toktix, we share your order information — including your name, email address, phone number, ticket type, quantity, amount paid, and check-in status — with the host or organizer of that event (and members of their organization or team with a role on the event). Hosts use this information to deliver and verify your tickets, admit you at the door, manage refunds and changes, and provide you with service and information about that specific event. (Promotional messages require your separate opt-in, described above under "Host Marketing SMS Communications.") Hosts access this data inside Toktix; we may also allow a host to export a record of their own event's orders (name and email, never your phone number) for their accounting and record-keeping. Hosts are contractually required to use your information only to operate the event you registered for, to keep it secure, and to honor your privacy requests — see the "Host Data Responsibilities" section of our Terms of Service.
With Other Users: Any information or content that you voluntarily share on Toktix (such as videos, profile information, or comments) will be visible to other users on the Platform. Please be mindful of your own privacy when you decide to share content publicly.
Service Providers: We share information with trusted third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf. These include companies that assist with hosting our Platform, analyzing data, processing payments, delivering messages or advertisements, and providing customer support. They only receive the information necessary to carry out their specific services and are obligated to protect your data.
Business Partners: In some cases, we might partner with third parties to offer services or features (for example, an in-app collaboration with another company). If you choose to participate in these offerings, we may share information about you with those partners with your consent.
Affiliates and Subsidiaries: We may share your information with our corporate affiliates (for example, a parent company, subsidiaries, or other companies under common ownership) to help operate and improve the Platform.
Legal Compliance and Safety: We will disclose information if we believe it's necessary to comply with a legal obligation, such as a law, regulation, search warrant, subpoena, or court order. We may also share information to enforce our terms and policies, and to protect the rights, property, or safety of Toktix, our users, or others.
Business Transfers: If Toktix is involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or other transaction, your information may be transferred to a successor or affiliate as part of that transaction.
With Your Consent: Apart from the cases listed above, we will ask for your consent before sharing your personal information with third parties for purposes not described in this Privacy Policy. You will have the choice to let us share your information or not.

Third-Party Marketing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. While we may share data with service providers and partners as described in this policy, these third parties are contractually prohibited from using your information for their own marketing activities. We will only share your information for marketing purposes with your explicit consent, and you may withdraw that consent at any time.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Cookies and similar technologies are small files or pieces of code that are stored on your device when you visit our Platform. Toktix and our analytics and advertising partners use these technologies for several purposes:

Authentication and Functionality: Cookies help remember your account login, preferences, and settings, so you have a consistent experience (for example, remaining logged in or keeping your language settings).
Performance and Analytics: We use cookies to understand how users navigate through Toktix and to identify areas for improvement. These tools provide us with aggregated data about things like page views, user engagement, and any errors encountered.
Advertising: Cookies and trackers allow us and our advertising partners to deliver relevant ads to you, both on Toktix and on other sites or apps. They help limit the number of times you see an ad and measure the effectiveness of ad campaigns.
Your Choices: Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies or alert you when a cookie is being placed. However, please note that if you disable cookies, some parts of the Toktix Platform may not function properly. Toktix does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" signals, but we offer other options to control cookies as described above.

Your Rights and Choices

You have certain rights and choices regarding your personal information. These may include:

Access and Update: You can access and update your profile information and other personal details at any time by logging into your account settings.
Deletion: You may delete content you have posted on Toktix, and you can also request deletion of your account. When you delete your account, we will remove or anonymize your personal information, though some data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes. Information a host has already exported for their own records is held by that host as an independent controller; we will pass your deletion request to the host on request, but you may also contact the host directly.
Opt-Out of Marketing: If you have subscribed to marketing emails or newsletters, you can opt out by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in those emails or through your account settings. We will continue to send you essential service notifications even if you opt out of marketing messages.
Privacy Settings: Toktix provides in-app privacy controls. For example, you can set your account to private (so only approved followers can see your content), adjust who can comment on or duet with your videos, and control whether your profile is suggested to others.
Cookie Preferences: As described in the Cookies section, you can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. You can also reset your advertising identifiers on mobile devices or limit ad tracking through your device settings.
Additional Rights: Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional privacy rights. For example, certain laws (like GDPR or CCPA) may provide the right to request access to the information we hold about you, to request that we delete your information, or to restrict or object to certain types of data processing. We will honor such requests in accordance with applicable laws.

Data Security

We implement a variety of security measures to protect your personal information. These include technical measures (such as encryption and secure data storage) and organizational measures (such as access controls to limit who can access your data). While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are also responsible for keeping your account credentials safe and notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Children's Privacy

Toktix is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use the Platform or provide any information to us. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will delete that information promptly. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided personal information to Toktix, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we make changes, we will update the Last updated date at the top of this policy. If the changes are significant, we may provide a more prominent notice (such as a notification within the app or an email to you). We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your information.
