If Publish won't go through, TokTix is telling you something's missing. It runs a quick check before going live and points out exactly what to fix. Here are the usual culprits.
The checklist
Your event needs all of these to publish:
- The basics — a name, date, time, and location.
- At least one ticket type — see Add ticket types.
- Payouts set up — only if you're selling paid tickets.
Most common: payouts aren't connected
For paid tickets, you must finish payout setup first, or the event can't publish. This is the number-one reason publish gets blocked.
- Open the event and look for the paid-tickets / payout prompt.
- Finish the setup — see How to sell paid tickets.
- If you see Finish Connecting or Resume Onboarding, complete it.
- Come back and tap Publish again.
Free events skip payout setup entirely. If every ticket is free, you don't need to connect anything — publish should work once the basics and a ticket type are in place.
Still stuck?
If the checklist looks complete and publish still won't go, close and reopen the event to refresh it, then try again. If it persists, message us from Profile → Feedback with the event name and we'll take a look.
